| An ammonite Psiloceras polymorphum from the oldest limestone layers of the Lower Jurassic Sunrise Formation, Ammonite Canyon, Nevada. The cephalopod had weathered out of sedimentary rocks that accumulated during the Hettangian Stage of the lower Jurassic Period, approximately 198 million years old. |
