The Kettleman Hills, California

A Google Earth street car perspective (snapped in June, 2016) that I edited and processed through photoshop. Here, a vehicle heads west through the Kettleman Hills, which lie along the western side of California's Great Central Valley, roughly 80 miles northwest of Bakersfield. Fantastically fossiliferous Pliocene-age strata some 4.5 to 2.5 million years old occur along both sides of the road.
