The dark grayish twig-like specimens on the slab of limestone are fossil bryozoans, species undetermined, from the middle Ordovician Antelope Valley Limestone, Beatty bioherm, Nye County, Nevada. For perspective, the limestone matrix is 60 millimeters across.
